CloudConvert provides online, browser-based file-processing tools that allow users to perform operations such as file conversion, compression, editing, merging, splitting, optimization, OCR, and related tasks.

The Service is provided by DigiPlux.

CloudConvert may add, remove, modify, or discontinue individual tools and features from time to time.

You may use CloudConvert only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws and regulations.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service is lawful in the country or jurisdiction in which you use it.

You must not use CloudConvert in a manner that violates the rights of another person or organization or that could harm, disrupt, or compromise the Service or its users.

You retain ownership of the files and content that you upload to CloudConvert.

You grant CloudConvert only the limited, non-exclusive permission necessary to receive, transmit, process, temporarily store, and return your files in order to perform the operation you request.

CloudConvert does not claim ownership of your uploaded files or their contents.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have all rights, permissions, licenses, and authorizations necessary to upload and process any file through the Service.

You should not upload confidential, sensitive, or regulated information unless you are authorized to do so and have determined that CloudConvert is appropriate for your intended use.

CloudConvert uses automated technologies to process files.

Automated processing may occasionally result in formatting changes, missing or altered content, reduced quality, conversion errors, incomplete processing, or other differences between an original file and its processed result.

You are responsible for reviewing every processed file before using, distributing, publishing, submitting, or relying upon it.

You should maintain a separate backup of important original files.

CloudConvert does not guarantee that every conversion or processing operation will produce an exact or error-free result.

You may not use CloudConvert to violate any applicable law or regulation; infringe copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other intellectual-property rights; upload or distribute malware, viruses, ransomware, spyware, or other malicious software; attempt to gain unauthorized access to CloudConvert, its infrastructure, systems, accounts, or data; attempt to access another user's files, account, or information; attack, scan, probe, overload, disrupt, or interfere with our systems or networks; circumvent or attempt to bypass technical restrictions, rate limits, usage limits, or security controls; use automated methods to abuse or overload the Service; use the Service to facilitate fraud, phishing, impersonation, or other deceptive activity; upload or process content that you are legally prohibited from possessing, transmitting, or processing; use the Service to distribute unlawful material; or interfere with another person's ability to use the Service.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect CloudConvert, our users, our infrastructure, or comply with applicable law.

The CloudConvert website, including its design, branding, logos, software, original text, graphics, interface, and other materials created by or for DigiPlux, is owned by or licensed to DigiPlux and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, sell, license, or commercially exploit CloudConvert's website or proprietary materials without appropriate authorization.

Your files and content remain yours, subject to the limited rights granted to us under these Terms.

If you believe that material processed or made available through CloudConvert infringes your copyright or other intellectual-property rights, please contact us with sufficient information for us to understand and evaluate the complaint.

Requests should include, where applicable, identification of the copyrighted or protected work; identification of the material or file at issue; information that allows us to locate or identify the relevant material; your contact information; a description of the rights you believe have been infringed; and any other information reasonably necessary for us to evaluate the complaint.

Submitting a complaint does not guarantee that CloudConvert will remove or restrict any material, but we will review legitimate requests in accordance with applicable law and our obligations.

To maintain the reliability, security, and availability of CloudConvert, we may establish reasonable technical restrictions or usage limits.

These may include limits relating to file size, processing time, number of operations, frequency of requests, available tools, system capacity, or other technical resources.

We may change these limits when reasonably necessary for security, performance, abuse prevention, or operational reasons.

Attempting to circumvent technical restrictions or usage limits is prohibited.

CloudConvert is provided on an as available basis.

We do not guarantee that the Service or any individual tool will always be available, operate without interruption, be free from errors, be compatible with every device or browser, produce identical results for every file, or remain available indefinitely.

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

We may also introduce new features, remove existing features, or modify technical requirements as the Service develops.

CloudConvert may rely on third-party infrastructure, technology, hosting, analytics, advertising, security, or other services.

The availability and operation of third-party services may be outside our direct control.

Your use of a third-party service may also be subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policy.

CloudConvert is not responsible for independent changes, outages, or policies of third-party services, except where responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

CloudConvert may display advertisements to support the operation and availability of the Service.

Advertising may be provided by third-party advertising providers, including Google AdSense.

Advertisements are provided independently of the file-processing functions of CloudConvert.

Nothing in these Terms requires you to interact with advertisements in order to use the Service.

Our collection, use, storage, and disclosure of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.

By using CloudConvert, you acknowledge that information may be processed in accordance with that Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Where applicable, you may be provided with choices concerning cookies, analytics, advertising, and other optional technologies.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the Service and information processed through it.

Files transmitted to our processing infrastructure are transmitted over encrypted connections.

However, no internet service or method of electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for deciding whether the Service is appropriate for the type and sensitivity of information you intend to process.

CloudConvert provides technical file-processing tools.

The Service does not provide legal, medical, financial, tax, accounting, or other professional advice.

You are responsible for reviewing processed files and determining whether the resulting content is suitable for your intended purpose.

If a file contains information that requires professional verification, you should obtain appropriate professional advice before relying on the processed result.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CloudConvert is provided without warranties or guarantees, express or implied, including warranties relating to availability, accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, compatibility, non-infringement, preservation of files, or error-free operation.

We do not guarantee that files will always be processed without errors, that results will always be complete or accurate, or that files will never be lost or corrupted.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a warranty, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DigiPlux and CloudConvert will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

This may include, where legally permitted, loss of data, files, revenue, profits, business opportunities, goodwill, or other intangible or consequential losses.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of your original files.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and reasonable expenses arising from your violation of these Terms; violation of applicable law; infringement of another person's rights; unauthorized use of files or content; or misuse of the Service.

This provision does not require you to indemnify DigiPlux for losses caused by DigiPlux's own unlawful conduct where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

We may suspend or restrict your access to CloudConvert if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms; your use presents a security or operational risk; your activity may harm other users or our infrastructure; your use is unlawful; or suspension is necessary to comply with applicable law.

We may also discontinue the Service or individual tools at any time.

Where reasonably practicable, we may provide notice before taking action, but we may act immediately when necessary to protect the Service, users, or third parties.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to DigiPlux, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent that mandatory laws applicable to you provide otherwise.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of CloudConvert will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts having lawful authority over the dispute.

Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from exercising mandatory rights or bringing a claim in a jurisdiction where applicable law provides that right.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Service, business practices, technology, or legal requirements.

When we make changes, we will update the Last updated date at the beginning of this page.

Your continued use of CloudConvert after updated Terms are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If a change materially affects your rights or obligations and applicable law requires notice, we will provide appropriate notice.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision or any other provision in the future.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms specifically applicable to particular features or services, constitute the agreement governing your use of CloudConvert, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
